While fighting my second bout of cancer, I felt led to start a Christian charity for cancer patients and their families.

Lifting up cancer patients in prayer is the most effective and powerful way that we can help. We have many people praying for those who are listed on our website prayer list. I don’t know how God will choose to work specifically in the lives of these people, but I do know that He is always at work, in every single circumstance in our lives, whether we can see it or not. If you know of someone who would like to receive prayer, and if you have their permission, please email us their name at info@philsfriends.org and we will add them to our prayer list.

Having cancer has given me a different perspective on life. After having cancer twice and not knowing if it may return again, I want to spend my days sharing God’s unconditional love with others, because there is NOTHING more important on this earth than to know God’s love. I am grateful that God healed me physically from cancer, but more importantly, he healed me spiritually. He showed me that I could trust Him with my life and that He is the only way to eternal life. I know that whenever my last day on earth comes, I will go to heaven. Because none of us are perfect and we all sin, we all need a Savior.

Christ took every single sin of ours ~past, present and future ~ with him to the cross. When we tell Him that we trust Him as our Savior from our mistakes and want Him to be the Lord of our lives, we can rest assured that we will spend eternity in heaven with Him forever. God wants every single person to be in heaven with Him because He loves each of us with an unconditional love! There is absolutely nothing we can do to earn God’s favor; He wants us to simply trust in Him and allow Him to lead us. There is nothing more important that I could share with you. No matter where we may be in life spiritually, God is lovingly waiting for us with open arms! We can find strength and peace only in Him.
