Care Package Drive

Reaching out to cancer patients is initially done by sending them a care package. These are full of helpful items as well as spiritual material. Your school, small group, business, university, youth group, church, Sunday school class, etc, could participate in a care package drive. By using the list below, these items could be purchased and donated to Phil's Friends in order to help us continue with our care package ministry.

We also would encourage your group to make homemade cards which are included in each care package. These are extremely meaningful to the cancer patients.

Thank you for organizing a care package drive for Phil's Friends. Below you will find a list of items that we are currently in need of.

* Thick, fuzzy women's socks (Jewel is a good place to find these)

* NIV New Testaments (pocket sized preferred due to shipping costs)

* Tea small box (16 pack)

* Single serving coffee packets

* Non-flavored chapstick

* 6 pack of purse-size Kleenex

* Extra soft toothbrushes, individually packaged

* Packages of blank notecards with envelopes

* Boxes of pre-printed Christian cards of "encouragement" and or "praying for you cards".

* Prepackaged craft kits for children and teens.

* Trial size Eucerin or Keri lotion

* $5 gift cards from Panera, Dairy Queen, or Starbucks
