Friends to Pray ForPlease pray for the people listed here. They are all at different stages. Some have just been diagnosed, some are in the midst of their diagnosis, some are in remission, and some are now cancer-free. Others have passed away, unfortunately, but we purposefully leave their names on our list so that we can pray for their families. Their situations change, but our God knows what they need each and every day. We can pray boldly for each of these patients/families, even if we don’t know their needs.

Suzette (Williamston, MI) – Suzette is an amazing, caring woman who just underwent a mastectomy.

Marie (Sterling, VA)

Bill (Stillwater, MN)

Catherine (Burbank, IL)

Ellen (Glenwood, IL) – Add Ellen to prayer list. She is my step-mom’s mom. She is Jewish.

Jon (Lombard, IL)

Carol (Elburn, IL)

Char (Jackson, TN) – This lady is the mother of a good friend of mine and has been fighting cancer for 2 years now. Her recent PET scan came back showing 3 significant new tumors in her lungs. Prayers for her would be appreciated and for her daughter Patti.

Lydia (Chicago, IL) – Hello, I hope you are well. Thank you for this organization. I heard about it on WMBI. Lydia is in so much pain and distress and is still having test after test. She will hopefully start her chemo/radiation next week. She has esophagus cancer.

Keith (Downers Grove, IL) – My husband has mantle cell lymphoma. Anything from the care package not used will be donated to Good Samaritan Hospital where he receives treatment. He is doing well now after a stem cell transplant, and he is an inspiration to everyone.

Megan (Streamwood, IL)

Yvonne (Wheaton, IL) – A friend of ours, Yvonne was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will start chemotherapy on Thursday, April 23.

I would be delighted if you would pass this on to your prayer team. I would love for them to pray that Kim comes to know the Lord as her personal Savior, that she would be healed from this cancer, that my father would seek help for his life-long drug addiction, and that He would restore our relationship so that my father can have a relationship with his grandchildren as well

Zachary (Eau Claire, WI) – 7th grader

Edward (Elgin, IL) – I want to thank you very much for the blessing you are extending to these cancer patients. May the Lord keep blessing you with all that you are doing and also keep Phil cancer free. I pray in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Jack (Rockford, IL) – Mr. Pettis has stage 4 liver cancer and has only 8 months to live. Currently, Jack has mouth sores and is very weak and tired from chemo treatments.

Scott (des Plaines, IL) – This is my sister-in-laws brother. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer and will be having surgery 4/24/09. Thank you for this service.

Elaine (Oak Lawn, IL)

Bill (Genoa, IL) – Bill is my cousin and has lung, neck, and brain cancer at age 61. He is divorced and gets much help and stays a lot with his sister Debbie. Both were raised Catholic & neither are saved.

Kizzy (Chicago, IL) – Kizzy is my neighbor. She attended our church on Easter and stated that she wanted to know about Christ. She has a husband and 3 kids.

Marisa (Roselle, IL) – My mom just found out she has cancer. Thank you for sending her this care package. She has great strength and faith and this package will help her focus more on that.

Susie (Chicago, IL) – Susie, we love you and are praying for diligently for you. Hugs to you!! Pastor Keith & your RPCC family.

Please pray for fear and difficulty in trusting God with husband’s cancer condition. 3 school ages kids. Angry at God. At home mom. Both are having difficulty with uncertainty of situation and future. Love God but is very afraid right now.

Please pray for Lynn. Her cancer markers have doubled recently. For a while she seemed to be in a "holding pattern" with constant chemo...the higher numbers are very bad news. She has big concerns for her children's salvation and this drains her of peace. Keep her in your prayers. She is a very precious lady with some very heavy burdens.

Kevin doesn't know the Lord; his wife Paula wants no part of "religion". Kevin had kidney cancer this time last year; was healed and has just been told he has lung cancer. He is a father of four daughters; 3 by his first wife who died from alcohol long after he was remarried to his second wife Paula.

Please pray for the family of Russell. Russell passed away last week, just short of his 14th birthday after having cancer since age 4. They are a strong Christian family, and I know they would greatly appreciate your prayers during this time.

Please continue to pray for Erik who has been in isolation, that he would regain his strength.

Please pray for Janice, as she is on morphine due to having a very large tumor. She will undergo a 10 hour surgery to remove the tumor and various organs on April 17th. The surgery went well! J

My husband has lung cancer stage 4 - he does not know the Lord and is not sure if God is real. Pray for his salvation. Thank you.

Please put them on the prayer list. The parent's names are Donna and Brant; the grandpa that I work with is John. It is truly a comfort to know little Jackson is completely healed and in heaven with his Savior. A friend at work just lost his 2 yr old grandson to cancer. The little guy (Jackson) had a tumor close to his brain stem that was removed Jan 1. He started chemo at Children's in WI. Approx 2 weeks ago they found cancer cells in his spinal fluid and changed his chemo treatment. On Sunday, April 5 he went home to be with the Lord. As you can image his young parents have a lot of medical bills. Please pray for financial help, too. Thank you so much!!
